Maryanne Sea works to bring the principles and practice of holistic care into health professional education as well as into a variety of health care settings.

She is presently the Coordinator of Holistic Care at St. John of God Hospital – Murdoch, where she has introduced three first-of-their-kind in Australia holistic care initiatives over the last three years.

She has also developed programs of Holistic Self-Care for caregivers (nurses, physicians and other hospital staff) at St. John of God Hospital – Murdoch and St. John of God Hospital – Subiaco.

In academic settings, she has developed and will commence teaching in 2010 MindBody Wellness, a unit within the first online Master’s in Wellness course at RMIT University in Melbourne.  

She is presently designing and will be teaching MindBody Healing, a first-of-its kind course for nursing students in Australia, at a Sydney nursing school in 2010.

She has been a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame School of Nursing in Perth for seven years.
