Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates are available to clients who have been referred to Maryanne by a GP under the Allied Health and Dental Services Initiative.
If you would like to receive a Medicare rebate, please follow these steps:
1.Make an appointment to see your GP (often the GP would prefer you to make a double appointment so that there is enough time to complete the Mental Health Care Plan).
2.Explain the reason why you would like to have psychological counselling sessions with Maryanne
3.Ask your GP to consider formulating a GP Mental Health Care Plan with the referral
to Maryanne Sea cited. The Mental Health Care Plan is a two-
This plan will allow you to have six counselling sessions. Following a review with
your GP, it may be possible for you to receive six additional Medicare -
Clients pay Maryanne for the session and receive a receipt which can be taken right after the session to receive a Medicare rebate.
The Item Number that Maryanne will supply to Medicare on your receipt is 80160 and this allows a rebate of $67.50 per session.
